Claude proofreading optional
The built-in checks are instant, offline and free. This one sends the contents of the field to the Anthropic API and adds what it finds to the underlines, marked checked by Claude. It never rewrites anything: it may swap a word or a short phrase, and nothing changes until you click the suggestion. Password fields, card numbers and anything that looks like a key are never sent.
Spending. By default it only runs when you ask for it (Alt+Shift+G, or right-click → Check this field now), on the cheapest model, at the lowest effort, with a hard cap per day. A check of a paragraph on Haiku costs a fraction of a cent.
Stored in this browser profile's extension storage, unencrypted, and sent only to api.anthropic.com. Get one at console.anthropic.com.
